Everyone is gone.
Sam spent the night with parents in Salem last night. We had planned on doing all sorts of things but managed to fit in dinner, movie, and a touch of the flu. I felt so bad for leaving him, that I almost drove down and got him. He was fine (of course), and barely gave me a passing hello when he barrelled in around noon. I'm feeling better now, and have started on laundry and general clean-up.
I'm also revelling in the christmas gifts I recieved. La Dolce Vegan and 'The Modern Quilt Workshop' are as good as I had hoped. Paul bought me a Jill Bliss tshirt, calendar, and mirror. As well as some beauuuuutiful mugs from New Seasons and the long awaited Jeff Buckley cd that I have pined after for many years. We received LOTS of Raffi music and two DVDs. Sam will be in a happy place for a long time to come.
My child is officially overwhelmed with great things. Highlights include the tea set, doctors bag and new trains. None of the pictures I've taken have come out. I'm learning the limits of my wee camera and have begun cursing our (so far) very grey and dark winter. BUT the light is coming and so are bigger and better picture posts.
