One my resolutions has been to cut my SCRAP consumption considerably. I've become terribly picky and completely self-conscious while going through the bins and shelves. It doesn't hurt that the SCRAP queens eye my arm loads with certain amount of skepticism (will she? how could she? WHY?). So I've taken to theme buying. It's working brilliantly, and I have no buyers remorse whatsoever. Besides going bonkers over available ricrac bits I've narrowed my search to colourways. Hurray!!
The chicken is part of a set of ten barnyard-themed appliques, which was accompanied A YARD OF MATCHING COTTON. That bird is sporting a look. It worked perfectly as a pocket on my work apron where I am usually making the same expression ("you'd like your eggs how??!!).
In other news: still having a hard time with digital imagery. have cleaned basement but have yet to unload and paint trim. have considered how a new sink in our bathroom will change my life. have not found or bought said life changing sink.
