Hello, Giant Hands. Actually, they are tiny radishes I pulled while thinning our equally tiny patch. It is about time something came out of there. Last year this time, we had a lot more moving. Those pictures are painful to look at. And, OH! Those strawberries last year! I pulled them apart and replanted them in March and they look pitiful.
The children hate the radishes. That's not a shocker.
I decided that if I lost any of our evergreen shrubs this year (and it is still possible thanks to a hard freeze we had in November), I would replacing them with blueberries or something else edible. I'm going to be okay with a lack of winter interest, landscaping-ly speaking and I'm getting a jump on 72 year-old me.
